Sean Kingston and #prayforseankingston have been trending on Twitter following the news that the rapper had been involved in a jet-ski accident in Miami.

Yesterday, he was reportedly in a ‘critical’ condition in the trauma ward of the Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Now, Joseph Carozza, the star’s spokesman, has confirmed his condition has improved, saying: “Sean Kingston is now stabilised and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU.”

The news will come as a great relief to the millions of fans around the world who have been expressing their concern for the Beautiful Girls singer, not to mention his celebrity friends, who were clearly shocked at the news.

Justin Bieber, who collaborated with Kingston on hit Eenie Meenie Tweeted: “@seankingston in my prayers tonight. a true friend and big bro. please keep him in your prayers tonight as well [sic]”

LL Cool J echoed the sentiment writing: “I hope and pray that Sean Kingston recovers quickly…. #staystrong [sic]”.
