Super-producer Jim Jonsin has revealed that he has some serious plans for Justin Bieber and his new album, and is considering putting him on a 'Motivation'-style track, that has done so well for Kelly Rowland.
In an interview with MTV News US, Jonsin revealed that he would "love" to put the 17-year-old on a "super slick" track.
He said: "I'd love to put him on something like that 'Motivation' type of track. Just a hard beat that he could sing something super slick [on]."
This was after the multi-platinum producer had said that he wanted to get Bieber to go back to the New Edition era as well as New Kids On The Block.
Jonsin said: "For Bieber, I think I want to reach back to New Edition, those days. I want to try to do something like that — 'Please Don't Go Girl,' New Kids on the Block — because the girls would go crazy. Maybe not that song, but something that feels like that: little bit of soul, R&B, but pop as well."

"American Idol" Season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina became the envy of a million teenage girls everywhere when she got to meet her celebrity crush at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday, June 8: Justin Bieber.

At the beginning of the season, Lauren and the other contestants were asked who their celebrity crushes are. Lauren's answer? "Oh, I don't wanna say! It's Bieber, I guess. I don't have Bieber Fever, but he's cute!"

Justin went home with the award for Collaborative Video of the Year along with Rascal Flatts for "That Should Be Me." Lauren tweeted Justin after the show, "hey justin! It was great to meet you last night! Congrats on your win!(:"

At the show, Lauren also got to chat with country music legend Shania Twain, posed for pictures with Sara Evans and Luke Bryan and hung out with her "Idol" buddy Scotty McCreery

Justin Bieber showed up at the 2011 CMT Music Awards without Selena Gomez. But that doesn't mean he walked the red carpet alone. His date was an attractive older woman, who is, in fact, his first best girl--his proud mom, Pattie Mallette. And how delighted Pattie must have been to see her son walk away with yet another major award. The Biebs' Collaborative Video of the Year Award which he won for his collaboration with Rascal Flatts on That Should Be Me was his first country music award ever. It was sweet of him to bring his mom to share that moment with him. But the question remains: where was Selena Gomez?

It was rather odd to see Justin Bieber at the CMT Awards--or anywhere else for that matter--without Selena Gomez. The teen lovebirds seem to be joined at the hip nowadays, providing fans, haters, and the omnipresent paparazzi with plenty of PDA and fodder for speculation. Could Selena's failure to attend the CMTs, coupled with JB's reportedly giving her the cold shoulder on June 7 at an NBA game in Dallas signal trouble in paradise? Anything is possible, but probably not.

Selena Gomez probably flew back to L.A. instead of going to Nashville for the CMTs with Justin Bieber because she's scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show on June 9. On June 10, she'll kick off her Monte Carlo mall tour which will last through June 27. Selena and her Monte Carlo co-stars Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy will travel to 10 select cities meeting fans and promoting the film which will open on July 1. She'll also be performing songs from her new album, When The Sun Goes Down, as well as her hit single, Who Says? Looks like Selena's going to be a busy girl.

So, the couple's fans can relax and the haters can grit their teeth and shake their fists in frustration. Jelena is no doubt still steady as they go. They'll just be apart for a while.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez continued to flaunt their young love at a basketball game last night.

Selena in particular being very touchy feely with her beau who appeared a little uncomfortable with her public displays of affection.

The pop superstar's face said it all as his Disney star girlfriend wrapped her arms around him during the NBA playoff match between Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Centre in Dallas.

Justin, 17, kept his hands in his pockets at one point while Selena placed her arms tenderly around his neck and planted a kiss on his cheek.

The expression on his face seeming to indicate he was less than happy with his girlfriend's attentions.
Later he shared a warm embrace with the 18-year-old star of Wizards of Waverly Place, but was more concerned with the basketball match for most of their evening.

Selena wore a white top with see-through lace sections across the midriff and on the arms, while Justin wore a black baseball cap and a matching jumper with an ice-cream logo emblazoned on the front.
The outing was a far cry from their recent romantic break to Hawaii.
During their holiday Justin and Selena were pictured frolicking in the sea together, Selena straddling her boyfriend as he held her up in his arms.

In the playoff match Miami Heat lost 86-83 to the Dallas Mavericks - the result left the teams tied at two games apiece in the best-of-seven series.
Perhaps Justin was distracted because he was conducting research for his forthcoming basketball movie.
Approached about the movie by MTV, he said: 'I know, it’s gonna be crazy!
You’ll have to see. I can’t really reveal too much about it.'
Justin's co-star Mark Wahlberg also recently spoke about the new film.
He explained that he was impressed by Bieber's video audition, saying: 'He sent me a video of himself, and, yeah, I think he's really talented.'

Justin Bieber is reportedly going to ask Selena Gomez to marry him on her 19th birthday next month. The source that is close to Justin revealed: 'He has started thinking seriously about his future. He’s not in any rush to head down the aisle,

But after such a fantastic time in Maui together it’s really cemented how he feels about Selena and is hoping she will.. say yes. It’s her 19th birthday in July, and he’s planning to propose to her at a birthday party he’s organizing for her.'
